Healing

Hi I have been using Scarban on 2 quite long new scars ( inside of both arms) and it is a fantastic product for this - I notice because you can leave it on for a couple of days - it keeps the scars moisturised and I believe that helps. I think my scars would not be as insignificant as they are without this product. It is less than a year since my surgery and already scars are very very pale and thin. Well worth a try.

Scarban Light Silicon Sheets

I am happy with the Scarban sheeting. It adheres well to the skin and molds well too because it is so thin.

Oncology symposium

During a symposium for oncology nurses last 2 days I learned about scarban.

What I didn't know I now know:

That Scarban can still be used well after the operation (sometimes 2 years later).
That it can always be used on a scar that is still red.
If the scar itches Scarban helps well.

How the geko™ W3 Works
Simple to Apply. Clinically Effective.
01

Apply Behind the Knee

Peel and apply the self-adhesive device behind the knee over the common peroneal nerve. No clinical setup or fitting required.

02

Nerve Stimulation Begins

Gentle electrical impulses activate the calf and foot muscle pump — mimicking the circulatory effect of walking, even in immobile patients.

03

Blood Flow Reaches the Wound

Increased microcirculatory flow delivers oxygen and nutrients to the wound bed, reducing oedema and creating the conditions needed for healing.

Who Is the geko™ W3 For?

Venous Leg Ulcers

Increases venous return and reduces chronic oedema — improving conditions for wound closure where standard treatment has stalled.

Diabetic Foot Ulcers

Improves perfusion to the wound bed in diabetic patients with poor peripheral circulation and compromised healing.

Lower Limb Oedema

Activates the natural muscle pump to reduce fluid build-up — effective where compression is contraindicated or poorly tolerated.

Chronic & Non-Healing Wounds

Used when wounds have failed to progress with conventional care — geko™ restores the circulatory conditions the body needs to heal.
