How to Use OtoMel Ear Drops

Daily use Tap to expand / collapse

Use 1 to 3 drops of OhroMel ear drops per time. Drop OhroMel 1 to 3 times a day into the ear canal where you have complaints. You may feel a slight tingling in your ear in the first few minutes. Do not use OhroMel for more than 30 consecutive days.

After a short break, you can continue using it. Warm the OhroMel bottle to body temperature before use by holding it in your hand for a few minutes. The use of cold ear drops can cause dizziness. The package also includes a wound gauze. This is intended for ear canal infections: to distribute the liquid well, and to make good contact with the skin.

Using the wound gauze (doctor’s advice only) Tap to expand / collapse

ONLY Use the wound gauze following doctor's advice, in the following way:

  • Cut the gauze to size
  • Roll it up
  • Place the roll in your ear
  • Drop OtoMel on the gauze (1 to 3 drops)

Hygiene + shelf life Tap to expand / collapse

After opening, OhroMel is still good for 12 months. The contents are enough for 4 to 6 weeks of use, depending on whether you use the drops for 1 or 2 ears.

Ensure good hygiene

  • Always screw the cap back on the bottle after use. Otherwise, bacteria can get into the liquid.
  • If you use the gauze or touch your ears during the dripping process, make sure you wash your hands first.

Shelf life

  • Store the bottle at a temperature between 4 and 30 degrees Celsius.
  • Use the contents up to a maximum of 12 months after opening. After that, the effectiveness may decrease and/or the liquid may be contaminated.
  • If the expiry date has passed, do not use the ear drops anymore. Because even then, the liquid may not work as well.
