Isotoner 3/4 finger compression gloves apply firm, even compression across the hand and are commonly used by people managing hand swelling, stiffness and general hand fatigue.

The open-finger design leaves fingertips free, so you can type, hold a phone, fasten buttons and handle small objects without taking the gloves off. The open cuff makes them easier to pull on and off than a closed-wrist style, which matters when hands are sore or swollen.

Seams sit on the outside of the glove rather than against the skin, and the area around the base of the thumb is seam-free to reduce pressure on a part of the hand that tends to be sensitive. The 80% nylon and 20% spandex blend is lightweight enough to wear through the day or overnight.

Sold as a matched left and right pair. If you only need one hand, the single glove listing is a better fit.

How to measure your hand

Compression gloves only work properly if they fit. Too loose and you lose the compression, too tight and they become uncomfortable to wear for any length of time.

What you need: a soft tape measure, or a strip of paper and a ruler.

  1. Rest your hand flat on a table, palm down, fingers together and relaxed.
  2. Measure across the widest part of your knuckles - the four finger knuckles only. Do not include your thumb.
  3. If your hands are different sizes, measure both. Buy for the hand you are treating, or size to the larger hand if buying a pair for general wear.
Size Knuckle width
XS Up to 70mm
S 70 - 82mm
M 82 - 95mm
L 95 - 108mm
